What is the
Naked Pumpkin Run?
What does it sound like?
How can I get a Naked Pumpkin Run Shirt?
To secure a shirt, please visit our STORE.
What should I bring?
The most important thing to bring is yourself and several of your friends. After that, bring a costume, it is Halloween after all. Also, be sure to bring shoes that you can run in. Some Pumpkin Run events provide pumpkins and libations, some do not, please check with your local chapter for more details!
What should I do with my pumpkin upon the completion of the run?
Please help the continuation of this event by employing a ‘LEAVE-NO-TRACE’ approach—at the end of the run put your pumpkin in that very same trash bag (provided) that holds your clothes.
Do I have to participate in the run?
You’re a postmodern, self-actualized individual right? You don’t
have to do anything that you don’t want to; however, should you elect
to participate it is manifestly understood that you will be running at your
own risk. Furthermore, we are asking for willing participants and staff only.
Tell your friends that spectation is allowed ONLY through the face of a pumpkin. Remember, as stated above, that event existence stands on account of your own exhibitionary free will.
Are there any potential legal repercussions for participating in this event?
Have you ever had a case of the giggles in church or grade school? Ever procrastinate in a café on some pressing studies by engaging in arguably one of the best conversations of your life? The circumvention of authority for personal liberation is a theme so well known to human nature that we need not go on providing examples. So yes, the violation of the Western societal more, enforced by law, of unclothed public exposure can indeed land you legal consequences. Furthermore, the decision to participate is yours and yours alone. We have never and will never force anyone to participate. However, some rumored, informal legal counsel
provided to this collective is as follows: “…Indecent exposure (only a misdemeanor?) will be labeled only after public complaint…”
INDECENT EXPOSURE - Indecent exposure is committed when a person knowingly exposes
his genitals to the view of another person under circumstances in which the
exposure is likely to affront or alarm the other person. Second and subsequent
convictions, and convictions where the victim is under fifteen, are punished
more severely. See Manual § 6.12 and C.R.S. § 18-7-302.

Please, help us keep this light-hearted event peaceful, non-violent, non-destructive,
and in the spirit of ‘leave-no-trace’ (except for the many generated
rumors and stories to be told by all who we surprise!).
What’s the point of all of this again?
Everyone runs for his or her own reasons, but the euphoria of actually running
is indescribable.
Okay, this sounds great, but what if I can't make it to Boulder?
For those of you fortunate enough to living where ever you happen to be, or to just be living for that matter, you can still carve yourself a pumpkin, put it on your head, strip down, and run your little heart out.
